Excuse Me
This started when 和田チャン and I were getting beers and chicken goods at the nearby 鶏貴族(?) and since tipping isn't cool in Nippon, I left them a doodle with our check.

Got it Covered
These started at as mock front and back covers for a movie prop. I was almost done, but not in time, so now they are just works in progress. I might still make them into a cover design, but it'll need more photoshop time.
I like the potential of this image. There is still a lot I will do with it, but I like to think of both of them as a 2 hour drawing fest of sorts. I think I just need more actual deadlines...Friday, March 19, 2010

Art Party
Wotta day, one post after the other. This is what happens when the internet goes down at the cribidy-bibidy.Anyhoo, night 'fore last, Smitty needed some quick paintings done for a children's dentist office scene (catch all that?) so we turned on some jams, invited over some jail bait, and slapped acrylic.

Diggin'
Old sketches of the Citizen based on some photos of Bruce Lee sparring. While I'm not especially violent (my little bro might protest to that statement a tad), being a boy I am somewhat fixated on the poetic nature of motion and defense.
Plus I love the idea that all of our limbs, even fingers, can be efficient, even deadly weapons.
